OUGD601 - Practical - Further Design Developments (2)

Based on feedback of initial design developments, it was decided to focus on further developing the final set of designs since it was thought these represented the different processes the best, and the use of small imperfections like the paint smudge and broken type made the design more impactful, particularly in attempting to produce the aesthetic contrast and meaningful experience in viewers I am aiming for. In the design below, the paint smudge has been made smaller, since it was considered that the larger size looked slightly unrealistic and distracted the design too much.

For similar reasons to some initial design developments, it was also considered that the header and footer elements were too perfect in their style. Therefore, it was decided in these further developments to add small and subtle strokes across these elements of type in order to mimic the effect of ink not fully transferring onto the paper so that the type is disrupted slightly.
